His most recent CD, Pages Blanches won the Juno for Best Francophone album of the year in 2006. Jim is a sought-after collaborator and has written lyrics for many francophone artists, as well as for Le Cirque du Soleil. CBC listeners will also recognize Jim as the host of A Propos. For over twenty five years now, Jim has invited listeners to tune in and discover the diversity and audacity of Québec's music scene. Jim is a gifted translator who has taken on some of the most surprising lyrics in French song over the past few years. He has always been fascinated by francophone music in a wide variety of styles and has been following the emergence of original singer songwriters for more than thirty years.
