Odario Williams is a Guyanese born entertainer, that was raised in Winnipeg, MB. Today Odario resides in Toronto as the lead vocalist for the award-winning Hip-Hop collective Grand Analog. His rap career began while studying creative writing, theater & film at the University of Winnipeg. He always considered Winnipeg, where he honed his craft, to be a hotbed for creativity & self expression. As an entertainer, Odario wears many hats, self describing himself mainly as a storyteller (he's also been titled a “modern day renaissance man”). Aside from being an actor, songwriter, producer, teacher, journalist and poet… Odario is no stranger to the CBC airwaves as a broadcaster. Over the last decade he has been a regular host on Radio 3. Also, he's been a fill-in host for The Signal, Radio 2 Top 20 and the Weekend Morning show. Odario is currently a regular personality on the highly popular CBC program 'Q'… you can hear him on-air every Friday, highlighting the freshest albums of the week. Odario is also an impressive DJ, showing off his turntable skills in popular bars across Canada. He's got the knack for creating the right vibe & curating memorable playlists… basically taking after his father, who was a party DJ in the 80s & 90s. There were plenty of records around the house growing up. Music has always been the foundation… storytelling has always been the passion.
