The editorial team here at CBC Music loves what we do. Every day, we do our best to come up with great stories, videos and visual content to help connect Canadians with the music they love, and discover new music.
That being said, everyone needs a day off sometimes.
So today, we kick off an occasional new series, in which we invite a musician to take the reigns of CBCMusic.ca, and we found a perfect person to be our first guest editor: Shad.
The 31-year-old, Juno-winning rapper releases his new album, Flying Colours, today. He recently sat down with our editorial team in Vancouver and Toronto and workshopped some stories with us. That content will be rolled out on our homepage all day Tuesday.
As part of his CBCMusic.ca Takeover, Shad will also be logging into our Twitter account at 12:30 p.m. ET to chat with his fans about the stories up on the site today, and field questions about his new album. You can participate in the chat by following @CBCMusic on Twitter, and use the #ShadTakeover hashtag.
