Canadian indie rockers take the top spot

It didn't take long for Tokyo Police Club to make it to the top of the Radio 2 Top 20 chart with their latest single, "Hot Tonight." The band just played to a packed house in Austin, Texas, at the SXSW Music and Film Festival. But before that gig, the guys dropped by our CBC Music studio for a live performance set. Sweet.

It takes two

The duo of Brian Burton of the Shins and super-producer James Mercer are collectively known as Broken Bells. They slide up the chart four spots with "Control," from their recent album After the Disco. They dropped by Studio Q a little while back and performed a couple of tunes. Have a look as they go acoustic with "Holding on For Life.". So. Pretty.

Canadian troubadour

He is a man of immense style and considerable talent. Royal Wood enters the chart at 15 with "White Flag." He recently dropped by for a session with his hot new band, have a listen.
