This is a special edition of the Radio 2 Top 20 for the week of Jan. 3, 2014.

As you look forward to all the good things the new year has to offer, let's take a musical look back at the year that was. On this week's chart we are counting down the most-loved songs on Radio 2 Drive and Radio 2 Morning from 2013.

You'll hear every number one song on the Radio 2 Top 20 from this past year, and those 15 songs were a real mixed bag of nuts! There were hits by Canadians, Americans, Brits, folkies, rockers, indie bands and some of the biggest artists out there — Mumford & Sons had four hits on the chart this year, and Serena Ryder had five.

Here's every number one from 2013, in order of the most weeks at the top of the chart.

The chart: 15 songs that all made it to #1

1. Mumford & Sons, "I Will Wait" (14 weeks)

2. Tegan and Sara, "I Was A Fool" (nine weeks)

3. Serena Ryder, "Stompa" (seven weeks)
