New number one chart-topper

Lindy Vopenfjord, has had three top ten tunes on the chart this year thanks to his solid songwriting and loyal support from his fan-base.

This week, Lindy's fans rallied around his song "The Limit" giving it the most online votes, and the final push it needed to take it to the limit! (Pun intended.) Lindy leaps five places up the chart and into pole position as your new number one. Lindy, congratulations!

Lindy, "The Limit" live.

They're back!

Arcade Fire fans from around the globe are downright giddy with the release of the band's double album Reflektor, but I think there was a much bigger fuss made around the tweet they sent asking fans to comply with a "dress code" at their upcoming live shows. Many were critical, saying the band had gotten too pretentious for their own good. But here at CBC Music, we like to dress up!

So join us, put on on your fanciest pants or most demure dress and enjoy this week's highest new entry. Arcade Fire's second single "Afterlife" is at number eight on the Radio 2 Top 20. Check out the video.
