New number 1

Pearl Jam’s song “Sirens” was last week’s number one. This week the Godfathers of Grunge slip to number two.

Who displaced the veteran rock and rollers at the top? It was a group of three young sisters all under the age of 26: Este, Danielle and Alana. They go by their family name, Haim. Here’s their number one song, “The Wire.”

They’re having the best year. They've topped charts across the globe, beating Justin Timberlake to the top in the U.K. and ranking in the top 10 in the U.S and Canada with their debut record, Days Are Gone.

They played Saturday Night Live last weekend.
