Today is the 20th anniversary of the death of hip-hop artist Tupac Shakur, and a new trailer for an upcoming biopic on his life has been released to commemorate the date.
The prolific rap artist died in Las Vegas at the age of 25 on Sept. 13, 1996, six days after being shot multiple times in a car after a drive-by shooting. The biopic about the artist's life is being released later this year featuring Demetrius Shipp in the lead role as Shakur. Directed by Benny Boom, All Eyez on Me also features Danai Gurira of Walking Dead fame playing activist Afeni Shakur, Tupac's mother. Afeni died earlier this year on May 2.
All Eyez on Me is scheduled to be released in theatres on Nov. 11. Watch the latest trailer below.
