Organic connections can sometimes spark the most fruitful collaborations. In the case of Jessy Lanza and Jeremy Greenspan of Junior Boys, shared roots in Hamilton, Ont., provided the basis for their creative relationship.

In The Junction, a new animated video series from the Red Bull Music Academy, filmmaker Dylan Glynn’s illustrations capture the particular magic of their work together, which is rooted in trust and admiration. Watch it below.

The Red Bull Music Academy was launched in 1998, and each year features a workshop for selected participants, culminating in live events and festivals. This year, RBMA touches down in Montreal from Sept. 24 to Oct. 28. Visit their website for more information.
