BadBadNotGood is an experimental jazz group that formed in 2010. The bandmates played their first show at a small bar on Toronto's Dundas West, and have since worked with Ghostface Killah, Kendrick Lamar and Frank Ocean — all in the past five years.

Currently touring their aptly titled fourth album, IV, CBC Music grabbed them between their U.S. and European tour dates for a special overnight performance at the abandoned Hearn Generating Station.

Watch the video above for performances with Charlotte Day Wilson, a track from Kaytranada's Polaris Prize-winning album and to experience the majesty that is the Hearn.

This episode of Backstage Pass airs on CBC Television this Sunday, Nov. 20, at 4 p.m. (4:30 pm NL) or Fridays at midnight (12:30 a.m. NL).
