Pick A Piper, Jenn Grant, More or Les: Radio 3's top 30 songs for the week of January 30, 2017

There are some exciting debuts on the chart this week, with lots of famliar names leading the way. Jenn Grant is on the verge a much-anticipated return, recently announcing a new album and string of live dates across Canada. Her new album Paradise will be available on March 3 via Outside Music. The video for the first single, called "Galaxies," was shot in Toronto at Earl Bales Park and calls to mind scenes from Stranger Things.

 

Other new songs on the chart this week include "Don't Yah Feel Better" by the Velveteins and "Born Yesterday" from Hollerado. The highest debut this week comes courtesy of Caribou collaborator Pick A Piper, who will be releasing an album called Distance on February 24 via Abandon Building. Their first single, "Geographically Opposed," checks in at #23:

 

Up at the top of the chart, long-time favourite More or Les takes over the #1 spot with the groovy single "Cuppa."
