Toronto's Robin Dann, a.k.a. Bernice, released her label debut for Arts & Crafts on June 16. The EP, called Puff, features 5 songs and we have the first single, "Talking About Her," checking in at #29 this week.

Dann told Exclaim! that the song is about, "friends talking about friends, talking about friends. And why we all do it and why we can't help it. And how it's sometimes hurtful, but ultimately, probably, ok, and how, really, we just love each other."

Montreal singer-songwriter Geoffroy released his debut album Coastline in March, and the song "Sleeping On My Own" is the highest debut this week.

Other debuts include Daniel Romano with "When I Learned Your Name," and Whitehose with "Nighthawks."

The Matinée makes the leap to the #1 spot on our top 30 this week with "Figure It Out" from Dancing on Your Grave, their excellent release from eariler this year.
