Tops, Milk & Bone, Wolf Parade: Radio 3's top 30 songs for the week of Sept. 11, 2017

Tops recently put out its third album, Sugar at the Gate, which was an ode to their time spent hanging out in Los Angeles. The song "Further" quietly grooves its way onto the chart this week at #29.

Montreal electro-pop duo Laurence Lafond-Beaulne and Camille Poliquin, a.k.a. Milk & Bone, are set to put out a follow-up to their debut LP Little Mourning this winter via Bonsound. The shimmering first single from the album, "Daydream" is the highest debut on the top 30 at #19.

 

Other debuts this week include "Mexico" from SC Mira, "Crystal Mountains" from Sleepless Nights and "Benefits" from Twist.

Wolf Parade recently announced that they will be releasing their first new album in 7 years this fall. Cry Cry Cry will be out on Oct. 6 via Universal Music in Canada and Sub Pop everywhere else. The first single from the album, "Valley Boy," climbs up to #1 this week.
