The R3-30: Radio 3’s top 30 songs for the week of June 6, 2016

Andrea Gin

Two of the stars from this month's podcast make their way up the top 30 chart this week. Firstly, we have a debut from Vancouver jangle-pop outfit Supermoon, who talked to us on the podcast about their new song "Witching Hour," their first ever tour and working with condescending soundmen. Secondly, Wolf Parade bursts on to the chart at #20. We talk to Dan Boeckner on the podcast about the band's big reunion and how they had to re-learn songs by watching themselves on old YouTube videos. Last but not least, we also also debuts from Navet Confit and July Talk. At the top, Vancouver's alt-popster Jay Arner surges to #1.
