The Red Hot Chili Peppers are the latest group to perform in one of talk show host James Corden's Carpool Karaoke videos, and the group brought new meaning to the stripped-down versions of hit songs the videos usually deliver.
During a rendition of the group's 2002 track "The Zephyr Song," Red Hot Chili Peppers lead singer Anthony Kiedis, bassist Flea and Corden take their shirts off to recall the band's reputation for performing with very little clothing on.
The group also sings along to a number of hit songs from its catalogue, including "Can't Stop," "Give it Away," "Californication," "By the Way," "Under the Bridge" and recent single "Dark Necessities," from the band's upcoming album, The Getaway.
Group members Kiedis, Flea, Chad Smith and Josh Klinghoffer also discuss some of the craziest moments the band has witnessed onstage and pause for a wrestling bout between Kiedis and Corden.
The Red Hot Chili Peppers will release The Getaway on June 17.
