Little Scream, The Sadies, Japandroids: Radio 3's top 30 songs for the week of January 23, 2017

Editorial Staff

This week's R3-30 features a new song from Little Scream, albeit one that was not included on her most recent album. "People" was recorded during the sessions for Cult Following and is a politically charged call-to-action to benefit ACLU and Planned Parenthood. It debuts at #24 our on chart.

The highest debut this week is "It's Easy (Like Walking)," the new single from the Sadies. It's from their upcoming album Northern Passages, which is currently available for pre-order and will be released on February 10. Take a listen to the track, which features Kurt Vile and lands at #20 on our chart.

Other new songs on the chart include "How Was I To Know" from Le Trouble and "Tu Cries" from Van Carton.

In some not so surprising news, Japandroids enjoys another week on top of the chart with the title track from Near to the Wild Heart of Life. You can stream the full album on CBC Music until January 27.
