Mark Wystrach's pick stopped him from bleeding all over his guitar

Midland's lead vocalist, Mark Wystrach, used to be a finger-picker. When he got fired up on music, he would pick so ferociously that he would soak his guitar in blood. Thankfully, his bandmate turned him on to the pleasures of using a guitar pick. Now, Wystrach has a Clayton U.S.A. 1-mm American eagle pick.
