Canadian country group High Valley performed at the Route 91 Harvest country music festival in Las Vegas this past weekend, two days before the deadliest shooting in modern U.S. history took place at the festival. At least 58 people including one Canadian have died and hundreds more are injured, CBC News has learned.
"I've never been scared before to do my job and this is scary. This is definitely scary stuff," said Brad Rempel, one of the two brothers in High Valley, reacting to the tragic events in a conversation with CBC q's Tom Power. "Some day soon I'll get back up onstage and I'll try my hardest to have no fear."
