Watch webcasts from the Calgary Phil and the Royal Conservatory this weekend

March is coming in like a lion this weekend in Canada, with a couple of awesome classical music webcasts you won't want to miss.

1. Nicolas Altstaedt (cello) and Fazil Say (piano)

Tune in Friday, March 2, at 8 p.m. ET to watch French-German cellist Nicolas Altstaedt and Turkish composer-pianist Fazil Say perform at the Royal Conservatory of Music's Koerner Hall. It's the same program the celebrated duo plays at Carnegie Hall on Feb. 28.

2. Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra with Ning Feng (violin)

The Calgary Phil continues its exciting new series of webcasts on Saturday, March 3, at 8 p.m. local time (10 p.m. ET). Music director Rune Bergmann leads a substantial program pairing two masterworks, with Chinese violinist Ning Feng as guest soloist.
