Arcade Fire's new 'Chemistry' video is a sweet anthropomorphic romance

Melody Lau

It's almost a year since Arcade Fire released Everything Now, and to continue on their "Infinite Content" theme, they've released another music video from the album today, this time for "Chemistry."

The video tells the story of an anthropomorphic cat and dog who fall in love in a world of sharks. The animation in the clip, which was directed by Ray Tintori, was done by Starburns Industries, best known for their work on Rick & Morty, Community and the 2015 Oscar-nominated film, Anomalisa.

Arcade Fire will embark on an Everything Now Continued tour this summer. Watch "Chemistry" below.
