Goodbye Honolulu, Broken Social Scene, Klaus: CBC Radio 3's top 30 songs for the week of Nov. 5, 2018

Garage rockers Goodbye Honolulu break on to the chart this week at #28 with "Lorry Can't Love." The band released the single via its own independent label in Toronto called Fried Records, and also puts out albums from local artists like the Bloomers, the Kitch, BBQ Pope and more.

Broken Social Scene has the highest debut on the chart with its new single "Old Dead Young." The song was written during the sessions for the band's latest release, Hug of Thunder, and features vocals from Feist.

Other debuts this week include "What A Mess" from Ellis, "Bombs Away" from the Zolas, "Daffodil" from Anemone and "Better With You" from Foxtrott.

Montreal's Klaus, a band featuring members of Patrick Watson, Karkwa and Galaxie, climbs to the number one spot this week with "Fever."
