Watch this cellist’s delightful 4-cello rendition of Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker

With a little bit of editing magic, German-Canadian cellist Johannes Moser arranged and recorded himself performing an utterly charming four-cello arrangement of this excerpt from Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker.

Moser performs Tchaikovsky’s Variations on a Rococo Theme this week in Edinburgh and Glasgow, where he is artist-in-residence at the Royal Scottish National Orchestra. The orchestra performs selections from The Nutcracker in the other half of the program, and it seems that Moser wanted in on the fun.
