Listen to Every 2019 Episode of Marvin's Room on CBC Music

By
Amanda Parris

Every week, host and producer Amanda Parris brings the world of R&B to Canadian listeners. From neo soul to trap soul, new jack swing to quiet storm, old school to new school and Canadian to international, Marvin's Room has a bit of it all.

The name of the show comes from the studio where Marvin Gaye recorded much of his legendary music and the more recent Drake song of the same name. Marvin's Room is a bridge between generations and sounds, from Patti LaBelle to PartyNextDoor.

Marvin's Room airs Fridays from 3-4 p.m. on CBC Radio One, 7-8 p.m. on CBC Music and on Sundays from 9-10 p.m. again on Radio One. If you miss it on the airwaves, you can listen to all the most recent episodes below.

If there's a Canadian R&B artist you'd like to hear on the show, send your suggestions to us on Twitter via @CBCMarvinsRoom.
